Microb-AI-ome consortium meets in Innsbruck, Austria
The Microb-AI-ome consortium met in Innsbruck, Austria, on 10 and 11 February 2026 for a two-day project meeting dedicated to reviewing progress, exchanging updates and coordinating upcoming activities.
The meeting brought together project partners to discuss scientific, technical, clinical, ethical, dissemination and management-related developments across the different work packages.
The discussions supported alignment on the project’s next steps, including ongoing work on privacy-preserving federated artificial intelligence, colorectal cancer risk stratification, clinical validation, stakeholder engagement and public communication.
