What is Microb-AI-ome?

Microb-AI-ome aims to improve colorectal cancer screening by using metagenomic microbiome profiles and artificial intelligence to better predict the need for colonoscopy.

Why federated AI?

The project will establish a privacy-preserving federated data network, enabling AI model development without sensitive patient data leaving local secure environments.

How is the project built?

The consortium combines expertise in microbiome science, clinical screening, federated databases, AI models, ethical assessment, guidelines, software development, management and communication.
